Utility // HudSight_Overlay

Tactical crosshair solution with dynamic tilt support for DayZ.

Hip-fire mechanics in DayZ lack visual feedback. To stabilize aim without hardware modifications (tape), HudSight provides the necessary overlay layer.

It is a custom crosshair utility that hooks into the rendering pipeline without triggering anti-cheat flags. Get it here: HudSight on Steam

The premium delta

Unlike generic freeware overlays, HudSight is a paid utility, but the functionality justifies the deployment.

  • Dynamic Leaning: This is the critical feature for DayZ. You can configure the crosshair to rotate and tilt in sync with your character’s movement (Q/E), maintaining accurate trajectory alignment.
  • Offset Calibration: It allows for manual coordinate shifting (X/Y axis). You can fine-tune the reticle position by specific pixels to ensure absolute alignment with your specific resolution.
  • Customization: Full support for custom reticle bitmaps or procedural drawing.

! Capture isolation

The overlay uses a specific rendering hook that remains invisible to third-party capture software.

  • Clean Output: It will not render in your Medal.tv clips or OBS stream.
  • Immersion: The visual aid remains exclusive to the operator’s view, preserving the raw UI experience for the viewer.
